Who are we:

What we collect:
What our visitors do on our website, consider this to include:
- Which pages you visit
- Which buttons/banners you click on
- How long you stay on the website
- Where your mouse moves
This data is anonymized. Therefore, we cannot see what YOU specifically click on, but we can see what our visitors click on the most.
Which tracking tools do we use:
Google Tag Manager
To quickly and clearly load scripts during your visit to our website, we use Google Tag Manager. We use this tool to control which tracking scripts are placed or not. For example, we do this to filter our own employees out of our analytics data. We do this based on IP address. This is not stored, however. It is only used to determine on the spot whether you are a customer or a colleague.
Furthermore, Tag Manager determines which scripts are loaded or not for you. This ensures your computer or phone is never busy downloading unnecessary JavaScript files.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to collect general information about our users. This includes where they come from, how long they stay on a page on average, and how they found us. These are also not personally identifiable data. So, we don’t know where YOU come from or which pages YOU visited, but we do know which pages our visitors visit most, how long they stay there on average, and from which search engines/social media channels our visitors primarily come.
Facebook Pixel
We sometimes promote our site with a paid Facebook advertisement. To track how these perform, we use the Facebook pixel. Its primary task is to track which users clicked through from Facebook to our website and which posts they subsequently clicked on. If you are still logged in to Facebook, it will also report back to Facebook that you visited our website. Here too, the rule applies: we never possess personally identifiable data. In other words: we don’t know that Peter from Rotterdam visited our site at 12:34 on his iPhone 8 with mobile number 0612345679, but we do know, for example, that it’s busy on our site around half past twelve with visitors from Rotterdam using an iPhone.
HeatMap, Inc.
To track which banners and buttons are clicked on our website, we use heatmapping. For this, anonymous data is provided to HeatMap, Inc., who process this information into useful statistics. We use this information to improve our website, for example, by improving filters or moving buttons. All this to offer a customer-friendly experience.
Google Ads
We advertise online on Google and Google partner sites; we do this using Google Ads. This requires us to register several things in the purchasing process, which happens with the help of cookies. For example, we register if you click on one of our advertisements and link that click to an order amount when you place an order. Additionally, we record how many people click on certain advertisements, how they got to the advertisement, and whether they made a purchase after clicking. We do this simply to measure whether our advertisements are relevant to you as a customer and to settle accounts with Google Ads later in the process.
We use Google Ads to reach you as a customer at the best and most relevant moments with our content. For example, this also includes content you previously viewed on our (mobile) site. To do this, we use Google’s remarketing pixels. Thanks to these pixels, we know where and when we can approach you and how we can show you even better personalized offers, based on your behavior on Google and Google partner sites. Through this pixel, we thus get a rough idea of you as a customer, on which we can then base advertisements.
The result of this tracking can be that you encounter our content on external websites, such as Google search results, but also, for example, on sites of potential competitors.
Please note: the tracking information is anonymized by Google, which means that a customer ID is linked to you, and that is the only way you are visible in the system. Personal data such as your email address and phone number will never fall under this dataset and therefore cannot be used by us for commercial purposes.
Don’t want personalized ads? You can simply indicate this to Google on this page.
How we ensure your safety:
To ensure that your data is not misused, we have taken a number of steps.
- No data is stored outside the EU. This means that all data stored must be secured in accordance with European privacy law (GDPR).
- Data is anonymized as quickly as possible to reduce the risk of misuse. If we cannot trace the data back to you as a person, a potentially malicious person cannot either.
- Passwords are never stored as readable text. Here too, the rule applies: If we can’t do anything with it, others can’t either.
- Data is always and without exception sent to our servers via an SSL connection. This prevents data from being stolen while you visit our site.
